North Shore Juneteenth Association Inc.
is a group of community leaders seeking to create awareness about the Juneteenth holiday, educate the broader community about positive aspects of African American culture, and dismantle racism by using events and programming as a tool for change.
Our programs and events include Juneteenth Celebrations and Juneteenth Flag raisings, Our Black Excellence 5k, Hats & Heels Tea, Family Friendly paint event, Our Black Women of the Suffrage Movement Traveling Exhibit, Local Black Excellence Forum, and the many collaborations we take part in throughout the year.
